I think this is my first request ever on DA!
This is for  , she asked if I'd like to draw something from her "Book 4" Avatar fan fiction, and I chose the scene with Toph and Sokka in the Ostrich Stables. That's Horsie Toph is petting right there. The Ostrich Horse named "Sokka" is in the foreground. And Hawky is imitating Sokka's arm-movements. XD So the scenerio here is that Sokka was getting ready to leave soon, so he was checking up on the tack and brushing the animals. And wham, Toph came in for a visit. Sokka was asking her to come along with him on his journey to find his lost weapons, but Toph seemed to have other plans. So Sokka is all "What, why? D:>" and she's all "._.". You'd better just read the actual thing, it's very good. :3 (I can't go look for links, because- DIALUP right now. It'd take half an hour. Just look on Capt-BA's page. XD If you like Avatar, I suggest you read it.) My internet hasn't been working for the past day-and-a-half, so it took me a while to transfer the file and upload through dialup. Why does my internet always quit when I have something to share? Ah well, it was very fun to draw nonetheless. Aaand... I hope you like it, ~Capt-BA! |

My Tokka fic. You know you want to!
I saw this in my deviations and I was like "heeeey, that looks familiar". And more than it just being from my story, it's SO perfect and fits it so well!
Your attention to detail is amazing! Their expressions, poses, you can almost hear them talking. I love Hawky imitating Sokka (seems so in character, haha). I love Horsie and Ostrich Sokka! The stable is awesome and the scenery out the window is just perfect. Does Sokka have some extra support there on his leg? Brilliant!!
Really, I absolutely love this. It's one of my fav scenes and you totally did it justice! More than that, now whenever I read that scene I'm going to picture this.
